Doc-Studio turns static documents into searchable intelligence — with a confidence gate that says when something wasn't found, instead of guessing.
What is Doc-Studio?
Doc-Studio is an add-on for the team assistant that lets your employees ask questions about company documents — powered by Docling (state-of-the-art document parsing for PDF, DOCX, scans).
The key point: we don't promise "every question answered". Instead, we show with a confidence gate whether an answer can be trusted. "Not found" is sometimes the more honest answer than a guess.
What can Doc-Studio do?
Docling parsing
PDF, DOCX, scans — automatically converted into machine-readable text. Images with text, complex layouts, multi-column: Doc-Studio understands it.
RAG Q&A with source reference
Ask: "What does our handbook say about vacation?" Doc-Studio answers with the exact source — which document, which page, which paragraph.
Confidence gate
Automatic quality control: only answers with sufficient confidence are shown. Everything else: "Not found in the material" — honest instead of speculative.
Chat shortcuts
Convenience features like /summary (summary), /keywords
(automatic tagging) — just call them up in chat.

Compare two documents (e.g. old vs. new, draft vs. final) — differences shown automatically. This feature is not yet unlocked in all plans during pilot operation. Interested? Contact us.
⭐ /deadlines-radar on request
Automatic detection of deadlines and dates in documents. Premium extension (E4.3), not enabled by default at present. Available on request for interested parties.
Privacy & transparency
Parsing runs locally on your infrastructure. Documents are processed on your AI Hub cell or in fallback mode — no external document upload to third parties.
Source transparency. Every answer names its sources. No "it might say so somewhere" — only verifiable knowledge from your own documents.
Status
Doc-Studio is currently in pilot operation with selected partners (netplans, intelego). That means: stable, production-ready code — but small optimisations are still possible. Become a partner and give us feedback.
